There are two kinds of throttle: traditional cable type and electronic throttle.

1. The traditional throttle control mechanism of engine works by cable (soft steel wire) or pull rod, one end is connected with accelerator pedal, the other end is connected with throttle linkage plate.

2. The electronic throttle mainly uses the throttle position sensor to control the opening angle of the throttle according to the energy required by the engine, so as to adjust the intake volume.

The throttle is one of the most important parts in the engine system of EFI vehicle. Its upper part is the air grid of air filter, the lower part is the cylinder block and the throat of the engine. Whether the car accelerates flexibly has a lot to do with the dirty throttle.
